ABSTRACT

The effort to continuously fix the learning quality needs to be owned by the teacher as a professional attitude; it means that the effort to develop innovative things should become the teacher’s concern in order to improve education’s quality. But the reality shows that the understanding and the implementation of the innovative learning models is still not optimum. The data from Pekalongan district in 2011, shows that way. They are still dominantly using conventional way or just go with the flows as their old culture; it also shows the lack of information content in their system. Thud, this study is expected to give a contribution model and strategy in the development of the innovative performance, so that they can improve the quality of education result and the nations competitiveness, especially, the improvement of the innovative performance of the teachers which  was based on the smart working pattern in the information technology context. The population of this research is all of the teachers in Pekalongan district, which was consist of: a Junior High School 1 Wiradesa, Senior High School 1 Kedungwuni, and Senior High School 1 Kajen. The total numbers of the teachers are 200 people. The limited population made the writer used census sampling technique, it means that the number of population equals to the number of respondent data sample. The data analysis technique used was the The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) from the AMOS 5.1. Software Package. The empirical data test result shows that: if the smart working pattern gets higher, then the innovative performance will rise too. If the learning orientation gets higher, then the smart working pattern will rise too. If the intrinsic motivation gets higher, then the smart working pattern will rise too. If the intrinsic motivation gets higher, then the innovative performance will rise too. The information technology moderates the increasement of the innovative performance.
