The purpose of this study is to analyze and prove the effects of motivation to pay zakat, infaq and shadaqah on the satisfaction or happiness and loyalty of the muzzakis. The result of the study shows that zakat, infaq, and shadaqah (ZIS) could be a means of reducing poverty by narrowing the income gap between classes in society that is between the rich and the poor. They also constitute a door for investment in real sectors, if the distribution of ZIS was directed to productive goals.

Unfotunately, there is still a lack of professionalism and transparancy in the collection and distribution of ZIS by the management of BAZIS due to internal managerial and operational problems in it. The fact that it didn’t have any socialization program to make people know what it close makes a problem for it to cllect ZIS from as many sources as possible. That is why this study concluded that the loyalty of the muzakkis to the BAZIS is not optimum.
