Character education can be integrated in the learning in each subject. Mathematics instruction given to students in the portion of school hours most certainly can be an appropriate vehicle to apply character education. The values of character education in mathematics certainly will not be same in every lesson. Implementation of character education in this article limited to the application of Project Based Learning and statistics lesson of junior high school. Project Based Learning on statictical lesson can be done with a task in the form of projects in accordance with sub topics contained in the stastical lesson. The project provided should be in acoordance with the capabilities and the characteristics of students, as well as adapted to the learning objectives to be achieved. Characters values contained in Project Based Learning on statistical lesson that are logical, critical, and innovative thinking; independence; caring; respectful; democratic; self confidence; responsibility; helping each other; and cooperation.
