UPAYA MENGANTISIPASI PERUBAHAN ORGANISASI DAN "GLASS CEILING" DALAM PENGEMBANGAN KARIR MANAJERIAL BAGI WANITA

ABSTRACT

The relative stability and predictability of business is being replaced by uncertainty, complexity and rapid change, Intense global competition, shifting demography, economic fluctuation and other dynamics conditions require organization to be more adaptive and swifter. Transformation organization (e.g. restructuring) is one way to be adaptive and flexible. It’s important taking place an a global scale, to be smaller organization, smarter and swifter to reach sustainable competitive advantages, Protean career is a new paradigm to face that changes organization structure, requirements competencies with special characteristics. Also increasingly participation women in the workforce asking to commitment to design their career development differently than men, especially in high level management, and conflict to balance between work and family can managed by adopt friendly family policies, as one way to minimize glass ceiling.
