KAJIAN BESARAN MEKANIS BETON BERSERAT MUTU TINGGI (STUDI EKSPERIMENTAL)

Results are summarized from experimental investigation of the mechanical properties of fiber high-strength concrete. The materials tested were produced using Type I portland cement, fly ash from Paiton, gravel or crushed limestone coarse aggregate, sand from a local deposit, and for some mixes a water-reducing retarding admixture. Water-cement ratio is 0,38; and mix design of uniaxial compressive strength greater than 50 MPa. Information is given pertaining to compressive strength, split cylinder strength, static modulus of elasticity and modulus of rupture. Several differents were found, in some cases, between the mechanical properties of non-fiber and fiber high-strength concrete. From this study, it is found that the modulus of elasticity models warrant to be modified before they can be utilized in the design of structures made of fiber high-strength concrete materials. The work described is a part of a larger investigation of the fundamental and engineering properties of fiber high-strength concrete.
